Imperial Stables
Imperial Stables

The stables with their double porticoes on two sides of the entry have two courtyards. The first, which is square, contains the coach houses, and also served as the riding school. The second was semi-circular and contained the actual horse stables. The aisles of the principal facade and the second story contained lodgings and quarters for the personnel of the Imperial Stables.

This building bears a resemblance to the Alexander Palace of Tsarskoe Selo, with a colonade connecting two pavilions and an encircling rear wing.
