Outer Hall
The Outer Hall is square, painted blue, with ornamentation in white plaster. Opposite the door, a painting by the artist Ilya Repin, "Emperor Alexander III Receiving a Peasant Deputation in the Petrovsky Palace". Next a window a green wavy jasper mantelpiece of Kolyvan manufacture. On the mantle, an old French Empire style clock, with the figure of Apollo in a chariot, the movement by Maniere of Paris. The clock is accompanied by two candleabras in the same style.
Through a gilded door, with rich ornamentation, one enters the St. George Hall.
